Registering a JDG in CEIDG
You file the application online through CEIDG (the Central Registration and Information on Business) — free of charge, with no visit to an office, provided you have a trusted profile (profil zaufany) or an electronic signature. Before you start, have ready:
- your PESEL number and ID card details,
- the business address (it can be your home address),
- the PKD codes describing your line of business — one primary code and any number of additional ones,
- the planned start date of the business,
- your chosen form of taxation (you can change it after registration, within the statutory deadline).
The CEIDG entry is usually active the next business day. The same application automatically registers you with REGON and — if you tick the relevant option — with ZUS.
